where to start?

well as ye all seen in the other thread im sitting the leaving this year, ive wanted an It career for a long time now and ive been doing repairs and stuff for people for years, ive built a good few computers and countless OS reinstalls for people.

im not really sure where to start? A lot of the degree courses im finding are more programming oriented, i doubt programming will really be for me as im more into the networking and configuration side of things.

any pointers on where i should be looking after the leaving cert and is there any degree courses that would suit me as i cant seem to find any,

this looks ideal to me, work placement and everything, but it gets me into a support job and where do i go from here?

not really sure what else is out there for what im looking for, the CAO is due this week and im probabaly going to put down computing in IT carlow as a first choice which has fairly high points to get into(5 OL subjects) or Information Technology in WIT, also looking at CIT. Im wexford based but living in cork city this year so i can move around a bit,
