What is the problem with laminate flooring. Is the temperature of the steam too high and loosening the bond ??.
    Thanks

You do know that for engineered and laminate floors you turn down the temperature of the steam mop.

You are aware of that important little detail...arent you???;)

Just read somewhere that they weren't recommended so I never bought it. The mrs does a good enough job anyway :pac:

I got one the last time they were on groupon and don't find it good at all and I have used it on both laminate floors and ceramic tiles. 5 meters sounds like a lot of cable but I find this quite short have to plug out going from room to room and each time you have to turn off the tap in in so that water doesn't come flowing out when you plug out, the only advantage in my opinion is that the floor is dry in seconds . All in all used about 5 times and left my floors streaky and went back to my old fashioned mop ,better and faster to use but longer to dry.

Maybe you were using too much water?

I have one and find it very good. Like has been said, the cable isn't really long enough. It's better than having to go over and back to the sink to rinse, etc.

Only problem I have is the head part is destroyed. It's a spotless white when it's new, but after the first clean it's manky...and there was no amount of washing would get it clean. So will probably have to buy replacement heads.

I have the H2O V5 steam mop and accessories (thats the green coloured H20).

I got the entire kit and 2 spare mop heads and additional accessory pack for 90 euro new.

    Its a grand steam mop.

Never broken on me..even though others say their broke on them.

For engineered and laminate, you simply turn down the temp of the steam mop, wait a few seconds and then you work away.

    Handy bit of kit indeed.:)

I've a steam mop from lidl. Use it on everything - just go light and quick on the laminate.

    LOVE my steam mop!

Don't go near the vax steamer it's really really terrible I had a big row with argus about talking it back but I won in the end.
There is just not enough power from it to really clean. Keep to the hand cleaners and mop
