Slice my drive? I slice everything, need some advice for practicing when abroad

Handicap 20, 24years old and right handed.
So from around this time last year til June I played at least once a week and as the weather got better played about 3 times a week. At the start my irons were always dead straight and reliable and I had abit of a slice on my driver (which i've always had and could never get over).
I got a few lessons which at the start made everything fade away to the right but I eventually got it back to where it was with an improved swing although there was still abit of a slice on everything ( I think its my wrists but definately have to head for another few lessons)
Next thing I know I'm off in China working for 6 months and only manage to go to the driving range there twice because of time off and I just couldn't afford to. So when I came back I've been out a few times and hit the range too and everthing I hit simply goes everywhere but where I want it.
So I'm not asking how to improve my swing but asking how to practice when abroad and there is no range or course to play. And I'm only concerned with long game practice

Simple. Go onto Brian Manzellas website and download "Never Slice again". If that doesnt cure you nothing will mate.

You've a free kick ... 25yds out ... Wall in front ... You want to go around the right hand side of the wall and into the goal ... You have a golfball and driver instead of a football. How would u swing the club to shape the ball that way? If you can figure that out (or feel it out) that's the end of your slice. (You might have other problems, but not a slice!).

^^^Please do not attempt to draw a golf ball around people standing 10 yards in-front^^^^:D

I had a slice for years, couldn't get rid of it. I could start to drive it well but the slice would always be my bad shot. I just gradually started to close my stance. For a slicer, a closed stance feel alien and aiming right was always what you avoided. With a closed/square stance you'll also feel like you cant swing fully at the ball, but practice will lead to straighter shots and maybe a nice draw.

I had a slice for years and just worked on closing my stance, i now aim at the right side of fairway and usually either get a nice draw or dead straight. Cant remember the last time I hit a bad slice.

For practice, get a driving net - widely available. If you get a decent one, you can always tell if it had hook or slice spin on it, just by the way it lands. Hit one off the toe or heel of the club and you'll see the effects of the spin.
Most of these nets would fit in the large pocket of most golf bags.

Well lads, thanks for all the replies, but as I said above I'm not really looking for advice on my swing and what to try,
I'm interested in people's methods for practicing when abroad when you can only get to the range or have a round once a month.

In fairness, the thread title is a bit misleading re the Slice.

A few things that come to mind are

Putting Mat: Practice in the room in the evenings
Work on your golf fitness: Have a look at some golf specific exercises you can be doing in the evenings, loads of videos/advice out there on this.
Power Bag: maybe possible to be used in doors, here's the first video that appeared in relation to it

Get a swing path tutor of some sort and grind the correct path into muscle memory

    e.g. here

Use some plastic balls indoors ... or none at all.

I'm working on the same thing as you with the driver atm OP.
Had a lesson and realised just how off-line my swingpath was(and is when I'm finishing putting together a nice card!).
Three things I'm working on-a)close the stance-I really had been aiming so far right to accomodate a slice any good drive I had was blamed as a block!
    b) up on the outside down on the inside-basically trying to build a completely different swingpath into memory and c) hand rotation through the swing, mainly between the horizontals.
I'm out in the shed practising with a 7iron with no golf balls most nights while having a smoke, and the ceiling is only 8' high!
