we've a wee place in albufeira, so we go back and forth to faro a few times a year. i kinda watch the price of flights every year. i've found that the flights with AL are at their cheapest when they are released, even the january sale is not cheaper. however, ryanair tend to sell off their seats about 2 months before travel, so you might get lucky if you hang on! crazy the prices now, i've noticed they are just going up and up
if you end up going to algarve, i can recommend yellowfish transfers for your airport transfers from faro
