St. Senans are based in Shannon and they'd be a good shout for what you're looking for.

Edit: it doesn't look like they've any games left to play this season though.

St Senans are in division 1 of the munster junior league and are currently near the bottom in a battle not to be relegated
Ennis are in division 2 of mjl and are in mid table
Best off contacting either clubs president/coaching contact which are lsted in the munster red book which is on the link below

There are teams in Ennis, Shannon, Kilrush and Scariff. Personally I'd recommend either Shannon or Scariff, I don't know anyone in Kilrush and I wasn't really that welcomed in Ennis when I came back from playing in Limerick so I'm biased against them :)

I used to work with 2 guys who used to play for Scariff, they both had great things to say about the club, I was always a bit sorry I didn't play with them for a season or 2. Shaun Payne was involved out there for a while as well, they have some great training routines.

Do you know if they have kind of a social rugby team? I didnt play rugby for 15 years so I wont fit in a very competitve team.

The 2 lads I knew on the team worked in IT, 1 was from Dublin and hadn't played for years, the other guy was a former sprinter, both got involved in the club first for the training and it went from there. Head down and see how you get on, worst case scenario you get to have a nice drive around East Clare :)

I play with Scariff as well, if you want PM me your number and I will give your number to the coach if you like.
Next training is tomorrow night at 7.30 and then again on Tuesday at 7.30.
    Hope to see you there.

Shannon RFC have a seconds and thirds team if you aren't interested in something too serious.
