Free press release websites ?

I was about to use irishpressreleases.ie but discovered I couldn't register on it (email with password never arrived in my inbox). Maybe the site is no longer managed and doesn't accept new registrations, I don't know. So I went looking for others. Found only expreswire.ie which actually charges a small sum.
Does anybody have experience of submitting thru expresswire or any other press release sites in Ireland ? Many thanks.

We use http://www.news4media.ie/ and http://www.irishpressreleases.ie/index.php. Both free and pretty decent.

The first one is currently down for work at the moment, but should be back up shortly.

Thank you Nathan. As I say, the second doesn't seem to allow new registrations anymore. I'll try the first. Cheers.

Depending on the industry you're in you might find specific news sites etc., that will take releases

Is news4media working for anyone? It worked fine for me last year but I can't login in now (got sent password but doesn't work)
