I am looking for opinions on plumbing supplier near Lucan or maybe Clondalkin
I know there is a HeatMerchants but while ideally located, some of their prices seem to be nearly the same as B&Q, while I prefer not to go to B&Q, its just less hassle and B&Q even come across as helpful compared to heatmerchants (in Lucan anyway). I have avoided HM as the last few times I went and bought a small quantity of things they were kinda turning their noses up at me, so when I bought a few rads for the house, I just avoided them, In the future I plan to get the boiler upgraded, I'd possibly buy the product/materials on recommendation and get an RGI to fit it, (HM seem to advertise baxi, maybe worcester, while Im thinking a different make anyway), that'd be a few quid for them, I just dont feel inclined to give them my money anymore. Maybe its just been my experience? I'd understand if it was busy and there was a Q out the door, come to think of it, I even saw a staff member scoff to someone about a customer that rang up on the phone while I was waiting, I thought that was bad form.

Does chadwicks stock plumbing supplies? its a bit awkward to get to going through Lucan village and i know there is a homevalue in clondalkin, but not sure if they do plumbing supplies,

Is there anything in between or near that area? or even a bit further away (Dublin) but have good prices and are at least moderately helpful/pleasant.

While the above is for general odd DIY in the house and rare.
In particular I want to get a double check valve, cant seem to see them here at all, I wanted to re-do the backgarden tap with one, I know they are a requirement in the UK, or so Ive been told a number of times, but I dont think so here, but was going to fit one anyway.
