Just noticed some ads for this locally. It must be a new race as I haven't heard of it before. Don't know the route, but I run around there a bit and it's very nice countryside, but hilly.

Yea I found it on Facebook since, new race set up locally. I signed up. I suspected a few hills alright! Hope it's well organised.

I enjoyed the race. A few reasonably sized hills to negotiate. 338ft of elevation over the course. The weather was perfect, calm and not too cold or warm I found. Id defo do it again next year.

Glad it went well. I was going to drop up to watch, but couldn't make it. What was the actual route for it in the end? Is there a map somewhere?

There is a map up on their facebook page. I couldn't tell you the route but it was a big loop (7k) followed by a smaller loop (3k)... both went up main St and took a right... the bigger loop went straight on... the smaller loop took a right.
