Pick UK, enter a post code in UK and select use current location.

    Worked for me.

Is the app stored on your SD Card?

Go into Settings, tap the Location box and make sure the first option 'Prefer Current Location' is ticked, that will override the country and postcode. In my settings the country is set to UK and there is a postcode entered also but it shows me my local cinemas when I ask for screening times.

I know its not what your asking but have you tried the entertainment.ie cinema app. Really handy for all cinema times in Ireland.

I'd go into Manage Apps. Clear the cache on IMDB. Then set the location. Although that will probably delete anything you have saved on the app.

If you go into news and weather appp, does it pick Ireland or UK for country tab?

Could be IP address related if not using gps for location.

If you don't use GPS, apps use whatever country your IP Address is registered as belonging too.

Whatever broadband supplier your with controls this and sometimes they don't update them.

So you can be with BT Ireland for BB or 3 for example in Ireland but when a lookup is done on your IP, its country is Australia so when you use services online they'll be localised to Australia.

    http://whatismyipaddress.com/ip/

Happened once or twice to me with Smart where I've been redirected to google.co.uk or google.be instead of google.ie on a laptop because of it.

Other apps use the language setting on your phone to try to localise your services so if your phone has English (UK) as the language then it will localise content to UK on you.
