    Hi there,

Friend looking to buy a second hand car from garage on Naas Road.

I understand they are called Motor City or City Motors. Never heard of them, don't think they are main dealers. To be fair there appears to be quite a few garages on Naas Road. I am pretty certain it is Motor City.

Have agreed to look at car for friend, next weekend.

Before I make my travel plans, can anyone tell me if they have had any dealings with this garage. Can anyone recommend them based on past experience?

I understand they have some nice looking cars in stock.

    Feedback would be much appreciated,

    Many Thanks

    Del.

I dont know of the particular dealer but there are way too many portacabin/fly by night dealers in that area. I would be very wary.

Google them with boards after name ! All used car dealers in Dublin should be treated with extreme caution ! Get mechanic to check do car history check and don't take my notice of any warranty ! Used car dealers have a poor image for very good reason !

    I wouldn't.

I actually passed through their yard on Saturday, some nice looking stuff. Based on things I've heard and from stuff I've read here I'd be very wary of dealing with them.

And I have a rule of never buying anything within the Bermuda Triangle of dodgy cars.

I think you already know this though given previous threads
