    Hi there,
I'm looking for a good decent 2.0(lower if possible) DEISLE jeep/van thats high enough to do a bit of lamping.
My 1.3 corolla isn't good enough for the job with out getting a lad standing out the window to scan a felid.

Also it would be mainly be a driving around car, no big towing distances apart from my 14ft boat around to the local lough. What in your eyes is a good make that doesn't break down and how many miles/kms per tank.
I'm still a student and looking for something 2k or under. I may stretch another 1.5k if it is a good investment.

Hard to beat something with a good big sunroof , like is it worth getting a jeep just for lamping . There would be alot of expense of diesel and maintenance on a jeep when you could just put on a extra vest and pop out a sunroof which would give you scope to lamp 360 degrees too .
My mates citroen dispatch is more comfy for lamping than my jeep IMO

Your mates dispatch, dose it have a sun roof, it looks promising to get but all seem to be 3k plus on done deal, i can probley find 1 cheeper but it will be an investment.
Any car that you think my be up to the task of my needs being under 2.0

I'm still 18 so insurance and tax are a factor, but being said a commercial van/jeep would be almost the same as my corolla for tax. But going for my test next week so the insurance will be a little better but not too much sadly, i plan to buy it after i get my full licence and when ever funds come available. :):)

No but my wife has a renault megan that has two sunroofs
I think the dispatch has bigger windows and more room inside for manouverability than a jeep .
