Like the title says... XBMC 12.0 - Frodo (final version) is out and ready for download.

    http://xbmc.org/

The XBMC website seemed to be down for a little while tonight, but now i know why.

Looking forward to the nice list of upgrades included!
Everyone at Team XBMC is proud and excited to announce the long awaited XBMC 12 “Frodo.” Features for XBMC 12 include:

HD audio support, including DTS-MA and Dolby True-HD, via the new XBMC AudioEngine (OSX/iOS not yet available)
    Live TV and PVR support
h.264 10bit (aka Hi10P) video software decoding for anime
64bit support in OSX to match the 64bit support in Linux
Improved image support, allowing the database to accomodate numerous additional image types and more interesting and complex skins
    Support for the Raspberry PI
Initial support for the Android platform
Improved AirPlay support across all platforms, including AirPlay audio in XBMC for Windows to match the other platforms
Improved controller support in Windows and Linux
    Advanced Filtering in the library
Video library tags to complement movie sets
    Advanced UPnP sharing
Default video languages now match the language being used by XBMC
    Translations now powered by Transifex

    Great news!

I have been looking forward to testing this and comparing it to my recent use of Kaffeine.

Running it on an ubuntu machine with Aeon Nox skin. Its pretty slick.

The one major problem I have and its one I had when I ran xbmc on win7 is that playback is still a bit jittery.
Its as if there's 2 invisible lines the same distance apart from each other and from the screen edges and whenever a camera pans or there's alot of movement the two lines start to shake making viewing kinda crap.

I thought the final release of frodo would sort it but no luck. Ive spend alot of time customizing xbmc, getting all my media folders organised and such and its a shame that for watching stuff vlc still beats xbmc in my eyes

Sounds like you've not got the hardware to run XBMC on top of an OS, try XBMCbuntu or Openelec

Did you try adjusting the settings? Such as fullscreen/true fullscreen, sync playback to display, turn video acceleration on/off, etc

This is a useless release. Nothing but problems. Audio dead after wake from sleep, hang on exit, just booted it up now and audio completely dead, hands when I try change audio settings.
