    Hey folks.

Was thinking about wiring in an iphone cable behind the cig lighter on my 01 9-5 and running it under the centre console to the arm rest cavity. Has anyone done this before and if so is there much involved?
    Would be dead handy.

Don't know if having it on all the time would be risky, some of them heat up a bit

I realise it'd turn off with the ignition.

I did think of that too (one of the reasons I am asking). I presume people have done it already and its not an issue/they have a better way of doing it.

    Yeah mine does (BMW).

I see a few peeps on saab sites have hardwired sat navs so you should be ok with a similar setup.
