Classes in Dublin

    Hi everyone,

I've been taking an Irish language class in Belfast for the last six months or so, but have a new job in Dublin so am going to have to find something new! In Belfast, I really was spoilt for choice with classes, in a variety of locations and they were very reasonably priced (100euro for a 3-4 month course of 2hrs per week). I've been having significantly more difficulty finding something comparable in Dublin though, and I was wondering if any locals could give me some tips?

I'm looking for a basic level of Irish - not quite total beginner, but not far from it! Ideally it would be one night per week for a couple of hours. I realise that there is some information in the sticky on this, but the sticky is quite old and the only courses still available of recent years are the GaelLinn courses, which are quite a bit more expensive than I can afford.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks.

I'd recommend Gaelchultúr but they as well as Conradh na Gaeilge but they have similar prices to Gael Linn. They'd be the big 3 in my opinion and unfortunately I haven't seen many more professional classes. A lot of community colleges offer night classes for adults, my local for an Irish beginners course is €90 that's 10 weeks at 2 hours a week check out this website for community classes http://www.eveningclasses.ie/products.asp?cat=152
