    Hi Guys.

I have a 2007 316 petrol with 115000 kilometres on the clock. Last week it lost power, recovered and no problems until yesterday when it lost power again and I barely crawled home. vaarious warning lights came on. took it to authorised dealer who said the engine warning harness needed to be replaced at a cost of 800 euro. Rang around and found a guy who has the bmw parts, diagnostic computer etc and he said that this is always going in the 3 series and that it does not need to be replaced, only fixed at a cost of 70 euro. Anyone else had this problem? He aso said that the timing belts in 2008 diesel models were going at 110000 kilometres. I have heard that this guy is doing nothing but bmw servicing.
