Can I claim tax credits for money spent on the cycle to work scheme?

I am getting conflicting information about it but I can not see an option for it on my paye anytime.

I was always under the impression that since the repayments were deducted from source that it was already factored into your rsi etc...

The money you get for the bike is via salary sacrifice.

Essentially it comes off your gross, not your net. You don't get tax credits.

You pay less tax because you earn slightly less (but get up to e1000 of bike+gear). So yes it should already be factored in.
