Folks I need a bit of help,

I've over researched what guitar to buy next and i've completely confused myself. I've been to shops, i've browsed online and the time has come to buy.

Only problem is I cant make up my mind which instrument to drop my funds on

A: Burny RLG 55 VLD (I haven't been able to try one of these but it comes on the recommendation of a very knowledgeable and talented in law who's opinion I trust)

    B: PRS Tremonti SE Signature

    C: Michael Kelly Patriot Custom

    D: DEAN Deceiver

They are very very different instruments but there's something about each one appeals to me.

    Any taught's are suggestions? :o

if you need a tremolo then your decision is made for you.

Of the others i would order the burny, but then i would, i have one and couldn't be happier with it!

the patriot custom is interesting but not having played one can't comment.

I'd say go with the guitar that felt the best to you, it's hard to go wrong then.

Do tell more about the burny, to be honest all I know about them is that they're made in China, supposedly sound better than a Gibson if you get a good one and they look fantastic

This is what people say about all Gibson copies though.

I had one of the Chinese Burnys & they were a very well built guitar
Didnt take to the floyd on it but apart from that it was very nice with a great bridge pickup.

Your choices are all based on the Les Paul shape, will you be happy with the variants? or is it a Les Paul your after ??

I know thats whats worrying me about possibility dropping €550 on a guitar that i've never seen in the flesh never mind played

Every review i've read online pretty much says the same thing, The model i'm looking at has a fixed bridge :)Link Here,

Honestly I just want a single cut away guitar that sounds great in its own right, not sounding like a Les Paul isn't necessarily a bad thing in my book.

The Dean/PRS are geared more towards the heavier end of things, the Burny is more of a classic LP and the Patriot Custom is apparently the most versatile of the above.

Well I took the plunge and bought the Ibanez!

That's right a guitar that I had forgotton about until 20 minutes ago :o

Brand new out of the box Ibanez ART300 for under €275
The finish isn't everyones cup of tea but I played one of these a few months ago and loved it.

Should be here Friday, very excited!

And it's out of stock

Back to my original plight again.............
