We are currently looking for a digital piano for a 5 year old on adverts, donedeal etc.
Have found 2 so far but not sure which one is best, so any help appreciated.
We are looking at the Yamaha Portable Grand DGX-500 or the Yamaha DGX 620.
Is there any difference between them and any idea which one would be better?
We are eventually looking to get the Yamaha Arius 161 but as he is only at it a few months, we don't want to spend a major amount just yet.
Thank you to anyone that can help :)

There's another option that may be close to the price of a DGX 620, with a link to audio and video examples. Depending on how you feel, you may not need to spend a second time on an Arius model afterwards.

One of the first links that shows up for me when I check DGX 620 is a youtube video with clashing notes problem, several comments from other people claiming to have had the same problem caused by too much moisture in the air.

The two DGX models you mentioned only have 32 notes polyphony as well, there is a DGX 630 on adverts too. It is one version newer than the 620, and has 64 note polyphony.

This would be useful if you plan to stay with the same one piano, in a few years time lessons may include more complex songs with a lot of notes played together in quick succession.
