Can someone tell me if there is anywhere to lock my bicycle in/near the biomedical sciences building? There are some bike racks near Pearse Street Station but that's all I could find.
    Thanks!

There's a underground car park in the building, there's places to lock bikes there

How do you get into it? I have seen some people wheel their bikes in through reception, but surely there must be an external door somewhere? And if so is there some swipe you need. They can't expect or want everyone wheeling bikes through?

It's true there are bike racks down there, but when the building opened they were charging people for the privilege to park there. I'm not sure if they're letting it slide now or there's just a blip in the security.

I've an email from last May saying you can swipe in using a student or staff card. No mention of a charge.

Will any TCD student card do? I'm returning to TCD next year and would LOVE sheltered bicycle parking for my steed.

Sorry, one more question! Where is the outside entrance to the car park?
    Cheers!

Any current valid TCD student card will work. The gate is to the right of the main entrance, on a little side road called Cumberland street. It's right next to the tunnel.
