clutch

    Clutch went in 96 golf. When i press the clutch there is no pressure and same when i release. Whats this likely to be and what should i expect it to cost to fix it??

    Might not be the clutch itself at all but rather the clutch cable. Similar thing happened to my sister's old Lupo.

    cheers. What would a replacing the clutch cable cost?

    She didn't have to replace it, it just needed some greace I think to free it up. Was a number of years ago so not sure of the exact details. Best thing to do is get someone to look at it for you.
