I've been asked to make some bakes for a coffee morning. I'm planning a carrott cake and possibly a chocolate cake. Just looking for some other quick and easy recipes.

    Thanks

There's an everyday chocolate cake recipe in the cooking club. Sorry can't link

Apple slices would be good! Very simple to make and easy to serve.

    Thanks for those.

I was looking in the cooking club for ideas.

I like the idea of the apple slice. I hadn't thought of that. I have some rhubarb in the freezer so might use that instead of apples.

Would mixed spice/cinnamon be nice with the rhubarb?

I'd imagine so but I know ginger is gorgeous with rhubarb
