Hiya. Anybody have any views on this development?
Also, what's Monasterevin like to live in?
    Any opinions would be great.
    Thanks a million :)

I dont know about that particular estate but I have lived in Monasterevin for 25 years and raised family here.

We have experienced a happy family life with good friends in a small town which still has a sense of community.
The local primary schools are top notch and the secondary, while having declined for a number of years is now under a new, younger principle with a dynamic team of teachers and is powering back with a vengence.
Pubs range from quiet to providing entertainment. Restaurants, apart from fast food types and chinese are scarce enough.
Loads of sports, community and youth activities are available when you have a dig.
Dublin, Newbridge and Portlaoise are easily accessable with a good coach service.

Like all towns it has a few problems but compares well with similar sized communities.
