I am wondering whats the best club to join in the Navan area (10 mile radius) i run a lot but would like to join a club. Can any1 recommend a club to join and how do i go about it? Navan AC doesn't seem to have much of a club, i right in saying that? thanks

Bohermeen is a very good club, just out the road from Navan. The track is decent enough, and the people in the club seem very sound. There's also South O'Hanlon, also very decent people involved in that club.

Myself and another poster, Younganne, trained last year with the Meath Running Group. They are starting up again in a couple of weeks if you are interested. They meet on Wednesday nights at Claremont Stadium and also run from the Ramparts on Saturday mornings.

I know the link says women in sport but there is a good mix of male and female and of every standard and ability.

In a difficult position replying to this as I don't want to be seen to be favouring one Meath club over another. Within or close to your 10 mile radius the stronger senior clubs would be Bohermeen and Dunshaughlin. South O'Hanlon another option. Within the county as a whole you could add in Star of the Sea (Stamullem/Gormanton area), Trim and Dunboyne.
