I've an interview with Hewlett Packard this week for a technical support role. I am looking for information on what the interview is like and what working at HP is like. I have got various different views both negative and positive about working there.

If anyone can advice me please on what the interview is like and what it is like to work there.

Are you working for HP or an onsite contract manufacture, what kind of role is it? There are many business units on site.

It's a whole lot better than being unemployed!

I didn't work for the place but I did interview for the French section. As Mrs OBumble said it's better than being unemployed, but I remember my interviewer saying that she had been there a year which for there was a really long time. So maybe good short term thing?

Worked there about 6 years ago with cpl. Wasn't much to the interview. A few technical questions and general interview type questions. The job was ok - as I would expect a level 1 help desk position. I only stayed for a summer though but that was just because I went back to college.

A job is a job and you can always leave it if you don't like it but it is easier to find a job if you already have one I think.
