Hi! I'm applying for this course again, didn't get in last year and repeating the LC!
Was on the website and for piano the good thing is they give you the sheet music for the quick study (give you the piece and expect you to play it there and then) online before the audition which is brilliant!!

Does anyone have any tips on the entrance test, think i got f***ed up on the listening part dunno so any hints or tips to ace the theory side of things for anyone who has done the entrance test before????

Thanks and are you auditioning this year?

Do you think you've improved a lot in the mean time? If you didn't get in last year I think they'll expect a noticeable improvement before they consider accepting you second time round (that's certainly how the piano department works).

The listening test (though it's years since I did it—graduated from the course two years ago) should be straightforward enough if you practise the sort of listening questions you have to do for the Leaving Cert, as well as the aural skills (identifying intervals, etc.).
