    Hi all,
    Im looking to meet up with like minded people who have an interest in playing (or trying to play - lol) some easy rock tunes; e.g;

Im a big fan of Tom Petty.

You get the idea. I play guitar and am 40 years old based in D15, I would be free to meet up one night a week and possibly weekends. Im not interested in being the next Eddie Van Halen either, I just wanna bash out some tunes! I have no gigging experience either. Im waiting on exam results so im not totally off the hook yet but Im just putting the ad up for now, I will reply to all replies.

    Thanks Again!

    Hi folks,
Were looking for a bassist and singer or a bassist that sings too! At the moment were just bashing out simple tunes but a singer would really help, open to female or male, you don't need experience either. We meet up every Sunday and at the moment were looking at these songs:

    Bang and blame (REM)
    Zombie (Cranberries)
Running down a dream (Tom Petty)
    About a girl (Nirvana)
    You Wreck me (Tom Petty)

    All replies will be answered

    Thanks again!

    Hi,
    Certainly interested.
    Where do you meet?
Guitarist here but can bang out the few notes on a bass too.
Can give the singing a go too if your stuck.

    Let me know.

    Awrite,

Can vocally hold a note nae bother, play a bit ay everything.

This still going or did you all egotistically implode before you hit the big-time? If so, where does it happen?

    Cheers.

    Hi,
Sorry for the delay on replies! Computer was being rebuilt, I am currently playing bass now so we would be open to another guitarist and a singer. Let me know if you have any ideas or suggestions - thanks

Well I am looking for a once weekly meet up.
As I said I can play guitar and some bass and would be willing to provide vocals.
I'm based in Navan but have transport.

Where are you practicing at the moment? Camelot Studios?

I like classic rock, the odd indie tune... Beatles/Bowie/Stones/

Not sure what to suggest as I'm not sure what you have in place at the moment.

Hi there, we normally agree on a number of tunes and practice those for when we meet. We also do a lot of 'spur of the moment' stuff too. We practice in muzzle music studios based in Chapelizod, Dublin every Sunday. Its very casual right now tooo, your more than welcome to join us, cheers!

    Hi David
I'm in my 40's, based in Dublin 8 & looking for a casual band or bunch of guys to jam with.
Not a brilliant drummer so don't expect too much but if you haven't got anyone yet, maybe let me know. Have my own kit and transport.
    Thanks
    Hans
