Drop Tuning back to standard?

Hey all, I'm buying a guitar second hand on Friday. Only problem is it has not beenplayed in a while and it was last tuned to Drop A. Will this cause me any problems if I throw on a new pair of strings and tune back to standard???? Any help is appreciated! Cheers, Mark

Yes, yes it will. You'll probably have to adjust the truss rod, fit a new nut depending on string gauge and tweak the bridge, especially if it has a trem. So basically a general setup.
