    Hi all,

Was wondering if anyone could recommend a company in Dublin that could install
a JVC KW AV60BT Double din head unit into a 2007 Alfa Romeo 147?

I have ordered all the relevant cables/adaptors to integrate the unit (for example: steering wheel controls), I have researched how to install the unit myself and it looks fairly straightforward but i`d rather not take any risks and would prefer a reasonably priced professional install.

Well you seem to have done your homework, so why not give it a crack yourself? Youll get more satisfaction out of it too knowing you did it youself.

If you really get stuck and cant do it, then get a professional but its not exactly rocket science

I'd recommend Dave Robinson at DR Car Audio. His work is neat, he's reasonably priced, and he'll come to you. Ph: 087-6343208

Sound decision in clondalkin. I use home for all that kind of stuff and he's spot on. He's doing the wiring on my race car too.

I had mailed Sound Decision in Clondalkin a few weeks back, I work in citiwest so would be handy to pop down to them, but I didn`t get a reply...

I have this stereo in my car.
    Nice bit of kit.

    Did you fit it yourself?

I fitted it but the rear speakers didn't work so I had to get a guy to sort it for me.
He done something to the wiring behind the dash and it's working 100% now.
My car is an A4 so I think the rear speakers have there own built in amps.

Oh yeah, forgot to say, the only adaptor I used was the one that came with the stereo.

Cheers - I checked online and I deffo need 2 additional cables to integrate the JVC with the ISO connections in the Alfa(steering wheel controls, speaker connections etc) have them ordered and should arrive later this week.

These sites helped alot with understanding how to connect the unit

I am confident that I could fit it myself but my wife is nervous i`ll damage the car and is putting her foot down on me getting a professional install:(
