Migrating Google Account from one email address to another

    Hi,

I have lots of Google services (and other online services) which utilise my existing ben@XXXX.com email address but that address will soon be terminated and replaced with ben@ZZZZZZ.com.

I'm concerned about migrating e.g. my Play Store account from ben@XXX.com to ben@ZZZZZZ.com without incurring lot's of hassle.

Does anyone know if there is an easy process for doing this? I'm sure others do it all the time but this is the first time I'll be 'losing' the email address I've used for years to sign up for online accounts etc.

    Cheers,

    Ben

I did not know you could use a non-gmail account for this

Well my ben@XXX.com email is hosted by Google Apps. Maybe that's why a non "Gmail" email works?

But your Google account is what administers the account. Just add the mew email address. You can either keep the old address attached to the account or remove it... Your choice... It should cause any issues.
