We're getting married in Sept 2013 and seriously thinking about going to India for 2 weeks straight after (around the 27th sept). We've seen a couple of offers that are within our budget. We're looking to do the 'Golden Triangle' circuit for a week and then heaf down to the goa coast for a week.

Has anyone done this trip? Any feedback?

Is India nice in Sept? I've looked online and there might be a chance of rain, i;d rather go somewhere where i'd be guaranteed sun for 2 weeks.

    Thanks for the help :)

    Hi there,
I was in India July through to the end of Sept. It rained and poured each day for the first two months, but in September it rained maybe every other day or so, however it fell in sudden short showers. I was travelling during the month of Sept (Mumbai-Goa-Agra-Delhi) and weather was fine for travelling in, actually quite comfortable.
Not sure where to start on doing the Golden Triangle, you can PM me with any other questions.

    Regards

If you're going to Goa, go to Palolem.

    Hi OP,

I lived in India for a year and don't recommend going in September. Monsoon (rainy season) starts in August and will continue for a couple of months. You will be likely to get very heavy rains, thunderstorms, flooding etc in September.
