MP3 player to connect up to 2.1 speakers

    Hi ,
    I currently have a Thomson Lyra Jukebox (20gb) mp3 player connected up to a set of 2.1 speakers in my kitchen .
    I'm running out of storage space so need to get another mp3 player with larger capacity .

    I was thinking of getting a basic Android tablet and a 32gb microsd card and using that as an mp3 player .Benefits are ,it would also have internet radio and apps but I'm unsure of the sound quality .

    I'm also considering a Sandisk Clip but that has a very small screen .
    A Zen Touch 2 is also a possibility ,it runs Android and should have decent sound.

    Does anybody have any recommendations or advice ?
