    Thinking of joining new stap scheme,has anyone heard of what facilitators are charging and would it be worth joining

    Had our first meeting of the year last night. Same criteria and same tasks as before
    Held on farm here, really enjoyed it

    Our facilitator is Teagasc, think they charge €150 if you're a Teagasc client already - I could be wrong with that number TBH.

    I find our group excellent, it is the members who drive the meetings not the facilitator, so that can be a lottery as I've heard other say they've have very quiet meetings.

    We had another Teagasc guy evaluating our group at one meeting and he said afterwards it was the best he'd been to with the, ah, robust but honest exchange of ideas which where there for the benefit of the entire group, it's all good here anyway. I am looking forward to hosting a meeting, when ever that will be.
