Ive just downloaded Livestock feeding made easy https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.livestockfeed&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5saXZlc3RvY2tmZWVkIl0.
Anyone else use this app? I`m wondering how accurate the figures are,
I`m feeding 42 Cows, 5 springers and 15 weanlens now it states that I have 47.3 livestock untis and eating just over 3 bales of silage a day. This seems near enough.
Now the app allows me to give concentrates per livestock unit but how much is another question it doesnt answer but I think after 3kgs of concentrates the level of silage (2 bales at 3kgs per LU) doesn't decrease.
Is there some type of minimum level of silage that a cow gets???

I see now why the level of silage intake doesnt decrease even after increasing the level of concentrates. The feckers still need a bottom line amount of feed/roughage
Only about a weeks feed left now regardless of how much concentrates I use.
    :(
