    Hi All,

Would anyone be able to outline in simple terms ( for a simple person like me :D) the benefits of using MEGA, assuming improvements with its encryption , in contrast to storing files encrypted with Axcrypt on something like Dropbox?

    Cheers

If I was going to upload anything to Mega I cared about I encrypt it myself first.

The fact that Mega generate {badly with client side javascript} the private key for you and have a copy means you can not trust it.

I agree If I was using storage over which I did not have absolute control and the information being stored was private, Then I would certainly encrypt it before storing it.
