    Hi,

I just recently purchased a Toshiba 1TB STOR.E Basics external hard drive. I have been adding files to it over the past week and today when I went to add more files to it Windows informed me that it was write protected. I never placed any write protection on the drive. I'm using Windows XP operating system. I've been googling solutions for the past hour but haven't found any that work. I don't want to have to reformat the drive. I have it formatted from NTFS to exFAT if this makes any difference. Thanks for any help!
