Hi, One of my radiators bleed nipples has rung on me and I need a replacement for it.

The rad is about 20 years old and the bleed nipple is screwed into the back of the rad on the top right hand side

Any idea where I could get a replacement nipple/screw for it?

    Thanks.

Most plumbers merchants will have replacement screws but if the one you have already has sheared off you will earn it to replace it.You might be better off drilling a tiny hole in the top of the rad and putting a self tapping screw in there to act as your bleed point

Hi, we recently bled all our rads but 1 or 2 of them still don't heat up fully. They seem to get very warm at the bottom but not at the top. Any ideas what's causing this please?

Did you try bleed them again?
If the water is hot in both pipes then the rad itself might be blocked with sludge and need a flush out.

No we just bled them once.. How do you flush them out? Is that the same as bleeding but just to let the water pour out for a while?
    Thanks..

Flushing is essentially power washing your heating system from the inside out clearing all the sludge and crud built up inside your rads and pipes over the years so that hot water can freely pass through your system which will boost the efficiency of your system. As for your rads there is air still in them sometimes it can take a few goes to purge all the air from them

Is it something we could do ourselves? If so, how do you do it?
    Thanks

First of all bleed them again and see does that solve the problem

As dickwod said bleed them first don't over think it.Power flushing is not something i would advise as a DIY,especially anyone that is not very very familiar and comfortable with plumbing and heating. If you are concerned about it ask your your OFTEC engineer at your next boiler service about doing it
