Too many pattern attempts

I am trying to access my nephews galaxy ace phone but cant because of too many pattern attempts. We have changed his gmail account details and have tried logging in but to no avail .Have also tried all the solutions on the net but none have worked .Brought it to vodafone shop yesterday the guy said log in through gmail but hant worked help!!!!!:o

Something similar happened my little cousins phone. The only thing I could think to do was do a hard reset. This will wipe your phone though so it is sort of a last resort.

Yeah I think so but they send it to your google account that you used when setting up the phone. I think the OP said they didn't have access to that account.

Sorry about late reply. I followed a few different youtube videos and finally got into the phone. He lost some games and messages but he was delighted to have phone working again.:D
