    Hi,
I'm off to Kirchberg on Friday and I was wondering if anyone can give advice on the following...
What are the best lifts and ski areas to use in the morning?
What are the best restaurants for lunch on the mountain?
Are there any good ski routes to do overa day? I know they often have them on the paper piste map.
Where is good for après ski in Kirchberg and should we ski back into Kitzbuhel for après ski one of the evenings?
Finally... Food, where is good for dinner in kirchberg?

    Any advice appreciated

    Thanks,

    D

Get there early, head across the 3s to Jockberg There isnt big queues and the lifts can take about 2.5K people an hour.
If you are a good skier there are good reds and Blacks over there. 60,61,62,65,75 74 77 are the best of the reds You need to take the 76 to pass turn to get over quickly and the ski back. 38, 23,17 and 56 are nice black runs. Dont forget to the the strief 21 the race track.
The restaurant at barenbadkogel is a fine place with plush armchairs. It will cost about 15 euro for lunch and a pint i most places. The Hochkitzbuhel at the top of the Hahnenkamn is the dearest place and poor value. The londoner is the liveliest place for apres ski there are taxis on the left as you come out to get back to kirchberg as buses stop around 5.30pm. There is a small bar straight down from the Hahnenkamn it is an outdoor one can be quite good also. We stayed self catering so we didnt eat out i the evening.

    Hope this helps

I am heading there on saturday, not today fm though. get the all star card, opens up the ski welt which is a very short bus ride away (ski rast to westendorf and also brixen). The main lift is the flek but faster and quieter is the Mairal. definately get the 3s as mentioned above to jochberg. all the huts are good so there shouldn't be any issue.
