    Hi,

I am changing my route to work next week, I will be cycling from Liffey Valley shopping center. I need somewhere to park the car in the mornings at Liffey Valley shopping center. Can anybody recommend somewhere safe to park - safe from clampers.

I know the obvious answer is park in one the shopping center carparks ... but has anybody done this and will the center security have a problem with it??

The sc car parks are fine or there is always the carpark in front of the clarion, the Arc bar.

I doubt it as it's an "open" car park (i.e. no tickets). I've left the car all day in other such car parks without a problem. In saying that, doing it day after day may be a different matter.

I think the Arc clamps. I was at an event in the Clarion last year and was told not to park in the Arc all day your I'd be clamped

Thank you godtabh for the heads up - I don't fancy paying a €90 clamp fee. I was hoping to hear from somebody on here that parks around the SC regular without any hassle...

Will, I've never heard of anyone getting clamped or given any hassle over parking in the sc car parks. The only thing security will clamp you for is parking on the pavement. It's very common for people to just leave their cars there in the morning - all of the staff do it. It's never a problem.
