Advice - Automatic 6 to 8k

Would love to get advice on buying an automatic. I have a 00 bora 2.0 automatic at the moment and while its running fine, I feel like a change. I would prefer to spend around 6k but could stretch to 8 for the right car.

I thought this car looked really nice:

What do you think? Anything to watch out for with these? Would I be better off sticking with bangernomics and looking for a bmw in the 2k range.

I bought a Prius 4 weeks ago and love it (08) its great on petrol and has a fair bit of poke in it and inside it has more room than my A4 had well worth looking into .

What sort of driving are doing OP, a hybrid really only comes into it's own in the city. Also €6k for a Prius with 180k miles is mental money.

That's a good point. I don't do a lot of town driving. Mostly rural to nearby town, with the occasional motorway trip to Dublin or Galway (from midlands). Those Accords look really nice. Thanks for the feedback. Thinking.......
