Only a very small thing for most of us but RTE have announced the exit of this from SKY and another sat service the name I missed (not Saorsat), it continues on every other platform.

Unusual move -Radio 1 extra is for the most the same output as Radio 1 except for sports coverage - maybe there are rights issues ?

AFAIK Sky provide free carriage of the RTE services.

A lot of stations have come off Sky (and the EPG) over the last while.

You would think in this digital age that RTÉ would be trying to increase it's presence on platforms like this. launch RTÉ pulse, Junior, 2xm etc on SKY, not take stations away.

    This too shall pass.
