    Hello.

I got an offer from WIT Bsc Agricultural Science last week. I come from South Korea which country between China and Japan.(I hope to you know "Gangnam- Style" it's coming from Korea.) In Korea, we do not have IT system So, it's too hard to explain my parents. Because, Bachelor level's agriculture studies only in IT(exculde UCD i saw UCD has Agricultural course) So, i hope to go IT. Could you give me some information how can i explain to them?

    Thank you very much!

To be honest there isn't a big difference at all between an IT and a normal university. One could say that the IT's are more practical and so you do more lab work. Other than they tend to have more Level 7 degrees than that of a university which mainly does Level 8's and so to make a sweeping generalisation, the universities are typically of a bigger reputation than IT's. However IT's like DIT are said to better than some of the universities so the standard can vary
