    Hi all,

Getting married in Sligo next year but neither myself or herself are from the county. I've been trying to find bands from the area but not getting too many names together - would anyone have any good suggestions?

Hoping to get a band for a younger audience if possible.

    Thanks

Anything Goes are a great wedding band. They gig around Sligo a lot, usually Hargadons in O'Connell Street or The Strand in Strandhill if you need to hear them.

Brian McDermott and his band are an excellent wedding group. Highly recommended. I've had some great nights to these boys

If you are looking for a band that would be more, say suited to the pub youth, then Sugar Rush have had some excellent gigs in town too. Dont have contact details tho.

Rackhouse Pilfer are another who do weddings, Bluegrass/Rock/Country cross over they have cross generational appeal.

Watched "Sugar Rush" play the Strand Bar at weekend, a great fun band...playing a great set of cover songs.

From what the OP has said

"Hoping to get a band for a younger audience if possible".

The MASS band could just be the ticket for sure...
