    I'm using netbeans and glassfish.
Glassfish is a bit of a disaster for me.
    Its not accepting my web.xml.
    I'm a novice to glassfish.
    I've only used tomcat before.
I don't know how to add servlet classes in the web.xml.
It seems to use some different kind of config to tomcat.
    I keep getting
display-name is not a valid root element
    Can anyone help?

Can you post the content of your web.xml? Without we can't tell what's wrong.
