    Just wondering is there anywhere in Ireland that stocks parts for a johnsered 49sp Chainsaw?

    How old is it? Might be worthwhile looking on ebay.co.uk Some ppl selling there have shops, you can ask them a question if you see something similar to what you are looking for.

    Or have you tried your local dealer?

    If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

    Attached is the parts book, which might give you something to be going on with.

    They're a late 70's/early 80's saw lacking many of the safety features of modern saws; I'd be debating the merits of keeping it going, to be honest.

    Afaik there 49 cc I cut timber with one a they're not a bad saw at all a bit heavy but goes with the territory!

    Call Clarke Machinery in Cavan town, and ask for Gordon Hastie. He should be able to sort you out. Also have a look at this website www.chainsawcollectors.se its based in Sweden, but all in English. Lots of committed Jonsereds users and collectors, and most will have spare parts knocking around.
