It won't work with that. There's loads of threads on this already. But get a combo box (start about €60), a 60-80cm dish and a terrestrial ariel if you want the most amount of free viewing. Your UPC ariel is unlikely to be of any use for anything other than UPC

ya i spent an hour trawling through threads with no luck , thought it would be easier to just ask
where do you get those combo boxes ? is there a lot of installation involved
probably need to call a guy i suppose it would be easier switch to sky
except i hate the direct debits

It'll cost a couple of hundred with the box to get fitted. I'll pm you some details tomorrow if you want. I've 2% left on my phone just now

sky will cost you a lot more than a couple of hundred just for the sake of the fta channels. Doesn't make sense.

already paying chorus so just a switch nothing extra and get all those fta channels don't want to be shelling out couple hundred for boxes aerials and installers

Depends what you use chorus for. When you come near the end of your contract with them look more into it. As you say you know little about it and there's value to be found

If you switch to Sky then go through Fatcheese to get cash back, the amount depends on the package you sign up to.

Getting cash back can take a little while but hey it'll go towards your subscription cost.

If you want a reputable installer to install a FTA system then look here:

A couple of hundred? It should cost no more than 200 max if he's just looking for the fta channels on 28E & nothing else.

I got a 65cm solid dish & SD fta box for €70 in power city 3 years ago for messing around with 19, 13 & 9E it cost me 80 to get it installed & still works fine today. Like I said it is a SD box but the OP didn't say anything about HD channels.
