    Well,

    I've got about e2000 to spend. I do 40 miles out and back work 5 days a week and a bit of here and there on the weekend with myself the wife and 2 kids.

    I'm driving an Astra ATM but the starter is going the nct is due so I'm not going to throw money at it.

    The Astra is 1.4 petrol so id go for a 1.6 diesel or 1.6 petrol if the right car came along.
    The easy answer would be another Astra but I've enough of it.

    1.6 focus?

    I'd love a 316 for style, but its might be too heavy.

    What says ye?
