    Hi there.
I have some Dura Ace gear on my old bike and I want to get rid of the lot.
Unfortunately I hit a car door a few years back and the front forks are shot.
I have a chainset and pedals, front and rear derailleurs and gear levers. All in excellent contition.
I want it all to go in one lot though but I am willing to negotiate.

I'll take a few photos and post them up to see what you think.
Not sure how much yet, I will need to do some research as it's a while since I've ridden the bike.
I do want to see everything go though. Frame, wheels, bars the lot.

What is the protocol for getting in touch privately on here?

I'll try to attach a couple of pictures.
The parts are dirty as the bike has been sitting in a shed for a few years. All in perfect working order though.
Sorry for being a bit blurred, they were taken with a camera phone.

    Hi bsb1971.
Here's a picture of the bike.
I want to shift it all in one go. I have a few other spares as well such as assorted Shimano bits and a set of time trial bars. Brakes fitted are Shimano 105's
The frame is 531 Pro but needs a new set of forks. It's also a bit tall at 25".
    How does €200 sound?

    I'll take it for €200 if bsb1971 isn't interested

Pity, the frame is too big for me. Guess that paves the way for cyal8r! On a side note - would CyaL8r be interested in selling the dura ace pedals - if you purchase all from stiletto? Cheers, pity the frame is so big, exactly what i was looking for otherwise!

@Stiletto72 - i'd be interested in everything bar the frame if that is of interest to you. Let me know cheers.

    Understood guys.
To be honest I just want to get rid of the lot in one go.
Got anybody you could give the frame to? There is a bit of history behind it. It was sent off to the Olympics with the UK team a few years ago but was never used. I got it because the Raleigh frame I had snapped about a month after I bought it. The paint was extremely thin on it and wore away. Hence the professional respray.

@Stiletto72 - to be honest the frame wouldnt be of interest to me - have spent the last couple of months selling off frames and generally clearing out! If it was my size then I would definetly take it though - the parts are what interest me - have a project in mind for them with a Columbus frame that I got bout six months ago. Bout the only way I would take the whole lot would be if there was movement on the asking price - esp as It needs a new fork - what happened to the original fork - was it crashed?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 213 ✭✭Stiletto72

    Yeah, crashed.
Car door opened, I hit it and went straight over it.
Luckily my nose broke my fall...
Let me see what I can do and I'll get back to you.
