I really liked Toronto when I was there, lots of things to do and see. Although that was a few years ago!

I live in Toronto and have visited Montreal, personally and this is purely my opinion (I know some people will strongly disagree) Montreal really didn't float my boat - if you have been to Prague, Paris, Amsterdam or even Dublin, then I think Montreal is not the wow i"t's so old and pretty" factor that North Americans get from it.

Toronto to me is a great spot (but I would say that as I live here) The cultural diversity and city energy is brilliant. Toronto is a big city of skyscrappers so keep that in mind, if you don't like the New York style city holdiays you may not enjoy Toronto.

I'm one of those who strongly disagree! :pac: I think if you are looking for "old and pretty" then Quebec City is the place to go not Montreal.

Montreal is the place to go if you want to have fun! I think that downtown area around Cresent Street is the most famous street in Montreal for bars and it's where the F1 celebrations are centered.

But I think that the most interesting and fun area of Montreal is the Latin Quarter around the streets of St. Laurent and St. Denis.

However this month and next, it's the Igloo Fest at the old port!
