Cultural thing I'm afraid. I'll never forget an incident at a Sydney park years ago. a travelling petting zoo was approached by a man who offered money for a young goat kid. The owner sold it. Man produced a knife and cut it's throat into the gutter. In front of children. In court he just didn't see anything wrong or inappropriate about it. sheep go missing in Wicklow. It's not always dogs.
